Is Solaris Intel 64-bit aware?

No. Due to the underlying Intel chip architecture, Solaris Intel is 32 bit.
However, starting with 2.6, Solaris (x86 and SPARC) supports
large (> 2 Gigabytes) files up to 1 Terrabyte.
In practice, the limit is 860 Gigabytes.
