The "find" program complains that my root directory doesn't exist?
Yes! Actually, messages like
find : cannot open /: No such file or directory.
are due to a bug in the tree walking function (nftw(3)).
Fixed in 2.4 and in the 2.3 kernel jumbo patch 101318 (-41 or later)
