How do I backup/recover NIS+ directory objects.
Starting with Solaris 2.6 there are two new commands.
nisbackup and nisrestores. These two command are used to
backup NIS+ directory objects on a NIS+ master server. nisbackup
will backup the directory objects passed to it to a directory.
This will backup the directory objects listed to /nisbackups
nisbackup /nisbackups root.dom. org_dir.root.dom. groups_dir.root.dom.
This will restore all directory objects in /nisbackups
nisrestore -a /nisbackups
