Use mpg123.

mpg123 is a real time MPEG Audio Player for Layers 1, 2, and 3. It can
play MP3s in stereo on reasonably fast machines. mpg123 is only for
non-commercial use. Precompiled binaries for 10.20 or 11.00 can be
obtained from the Liverpool archive.
